Licensing and plans
Writrex Lite is free with no caps. A Writrex licence adds paid features and covers 1 to 100 sites for a year.
Activating a licence
Buy a plan from your Writrex account, download the plugin there, and install it. Writrex Lite installs from writrex.com/free; installing Writrex replaces it and carries your settings and generated pages across.
- Open Writrex → Settings and find the Licence card.
- Paste your licence key and click Activate.
- The Plan Features table then shows what your plan enforces, includes and limits.

Sites and domain locking
Each licence covers a set number of site slots, and each activation is tied to the site's domain. When you reach the limit, deactivate a site from Settings → Licence or from your account before activating another.
Validation
Writrex re-checks your licence periodically - about every 24 hours - and allows a grace period if a check briefly fails, so a short network problem won't interrupt a working site. Only your licence key and site URL are sent to the Writrex licence server. It also delivers plugin update information.
Uninstalling
Uninstalling removes Writrex settings, schedules, cache tables and diagnostics. Generated posts, pages, products and media are left in place. Your monthly repair counter is preserved.
