Template builder New

Your page builder design. Writrex's content. On every page.

Design your service page once in Elementor or the WordPress block editor. Every page Writrex generates uses that design with its own hero, intro, features, process, pricing, long-form article, case study, FAQ, call to action and related pages.

What are page builder templates?

The AI writes the page copy. Your template decides how the page looks. SEO titles, schema, the quality gate and SEO plugin sync work exactly as they do on HTML template pages.

Builders
Elementor (the free version is enough; Elementor Pro adds dynamic tags) and the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg), with no extra plugin.
Starting point
Never a blank page. Each new template starts with a ready-made layout matching the Writrex default page, with every field and button link already connected. You only restyle it.
Design
Your Elementor design, or your block design plus your theme's styles. Writrex's Colour Customiser doesn't apply to these templates.
Templates
3 Elementor and 3 block editor templates on Starter, unlimited on Professional and above. They're counted separately from each other and from HTML templates.
Requires
Writrex Starter or above. Elementor templates need Elementor; block editor templates need WordPress 6.7 or newer.
Writrex Lite
Uses the built-in HTML template only.
01 · Elementor Starter+

Built for sites that already run on Elementor.

Generated pages match the rest of your site. Edit the template in Elementor with realistic sample text in every section, then restyle colours, fonts, spacing, backgrounds and columns the way you always do.

Free Elementor and Pro

Writrex widgets

Search for Writrex in the widget panel. One widget per section (Hero, Intro, Features, Process, What's Included, Pricing, Long-form, Case Study, FAQ, Call to Action), plus Related Pages, Field, Button and Image widgets. Each has its own Style tab, including normal and hover button styles.

Elementor Pro

93 Writrex dynamic tags

Any Elementor widget can show Writrex content. Pick a field from the Writrex group in Dynamic Tags: every page section, plus Business Name, Phone, Area, Keyword, Page Title, a Contact Page Link and a Phone Call Link. Empty fields print nothing, so unused headings simply disappear.

Smart buttons

Button text can include {phone}, {area}, {business} and {keyword}, and links to your contact page, a phone call or a custom address.

Cards or a list linking to your other generated pages, with title, count, columns, image position and full card styling.

Safe if you downgrade

A template built with dynamic tags still displays on free Elementor. If Elementor is turned off, pages fall back to the HTML template because their content is still stored.

02 · Block editor (Gutenberg) Starter+

No page builder? Use the editor WordPress already has.

Block editor templates are built from core WordPress blocks and inherit your theme's styles. Restyle them with the normal block tools: colours, typography, spacing, columns, groups, covers and backgrounds.

  • Connect any Heading, Paragraph, List item, Button or Image block to a Writrex field from the Attributes panel
  • Writrex Field, FAQ and Related Pages blocks, each with colour, typography and spacing settings
  • Handy extra fields: Hero Title with Accent and Call Button Text
  • Use the core Featured Image block for the hero image
Which one should I use?

Pick the editor your site is built with.

Built with Elementor: use an Elementor template, so generated pages match the rest of your site.

Default WordPress editor: use a block editor template. No extra plugin, and your theme's styles apply.

No custom design needed: keep the built-in HTML template and adjust it with the Colour Customiser.

03 · Generate and update

Change the design once. Push it to every page.

Pick your template in the Pages Automator or a scheduled campaign, or make it the default. Each generated page keeps its own copy of the design, so when you improve the template you choose which pages get the new look.

  • Push design replaces only the design. Text, FAQs, images, SEO title, description and schema stay as they are
  • Restore previous design undoes the last push on any page
  • Elementor pages edited by hand are marked, and you're warned before pushing over them
  • One default across HTML, Elementor and block editor templates

FAQ

Questions about page builder templates.

Do I need Elementor Pro?
No. Free Elementor is enough: templates are built with Writrex widgets. Elementor Pro adds 93 Writrex dynamic tags, so any Elementor widget can show Writrex content.
Do block editor templates need a page builder?
No. They use the WordPress block editor (WordPress 6.7 or newer) and core blocks, and inherit your theme's styles.
Will editing the template change pages I already generated?
Not until you push it. Each page keeps its own copy of the design. Click Push design on the template's card, pick the pages, and only their design is replaced. Restore previous design puts the old one back.
Does my SEO plugin still see the content?
Yes. The page's SEO copy is stored as normal, so Yoast, Rank Math, AIOSEO, SEOPress, The SEO Framework, the quality gate, schema and link audit all read it.
What happens if I deactivate Elementor or my plan lapses?
Existing pages keep displaying. If Elementor is deactivated, those pages fall back to the HTML template, since their content is still stored. New pages that can't use the template use your default HTML template instead.
How do I change the text on a generated page?
Use the Writrex Page Content Editor on the page's edit screen. The design updates with the new content. See the Elementor and block editor templates guide.
Which page builders are next?
Divi and Bricks are coming soon. Pages Writrex generates already work in any builder.
