What is Ask Writrex?
Ask Writrex is an AI agent built into the Writrex WordPress plugins. You chat with it like any AI assistant, but it can look at your actual site, so its answers come from your pages and not from guesswork. When it finds something to fix, it suggests the exact change and waits for your approval.

- Inside your WordPress dashboard at Writrex → Ask Writrex, plus a floating button and mini chat on every admin screen, including the block editor.
- What it reads
- Pages, posts, SEO titles and descriptions, headings, images and ALT text, links, menus, Additional CSS, the live page as a visitor sees it, and your SEO reports.
- What it changes
- Only what you approve: SEO fields, ALT text, page titles, excerpts, slugs, featured images, text, blocks, headings, links, clickable phone numbers and emails, Additional CSS, and new drafts.
- AI providers
- Google Gemini in Writrex Lite. Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic Claude on every paid Writrex plan. Pick the provider, model and effort for each chat.
- Safety
- Every change waits for Apply, is checked against the current page first, is recorded in Change History and can be undone. It never edits PHP, themes or plugins.

Ask Writrex can only suggest. Applying a change always takes your click, on a separate, permission-checked step, and every change lands in Change History.

A dedicated screen lists every change made through Ask Writrex, with search, filters and Undo.
