Legal # Refund policy Our policy is simple: 14 days, on licences that haven't been used. **In short.** You can request a full refund within **14 days** of purchase, as long as your licence key has **not been activated on any site**. Once a licence has been activated, it can't be refunded. ## Why activated licences aren't refundable You can try Writrex before you buy. The free plugin includes generation, quality scoring, SEO plugin sync, structured data, Link Audit, the overlap guard and an existing-page scan, so you can judge whether it fits your workflow before you buy a licence. Activating a paid licence unlocks premium features immediately, so we treat activation as the point at which the licence has been used. ## What's covered - Requests made within 14 days of the purchase date. - Licences that have never been activated on any site or domain. ## What isn't covered - Licences that have been activated on any site, including a test or staging site. - Requests made more than 14 days after purchase. - Charges from your AI, image or other third-party providers. You pay those providers directly and they aren't part of your Writrex purchase. ## How to request a refund 1. Email [hello@writrex.com](mailto:hello@writrex.com) within 14 days of purchase. 2. Include the email address used for the purchase and your order or licence details. 3. We'll check the licence's activation status and reply by email. 4. If the licence is eligible, we'll refund the payment to its original payment method and end the licence.
