Brand Box Limited is the data controller for personal information collected through writrex.com and for licence and support records. You can reach us at [hello@writrex.com](mailto:hello@writrex.com). ## Information we collect on this website - **Early-access form:** your name, email address, the package you're interested in and an optional message. We use this to email you the download link, notify you of updates and follow up personally. - **Technical data:** like most websites, our server may record standard request information such as IP address, browser and pages requested. We use it for security, abuse prevention (for example rate-limiting the form) and reliability. - **Email:** if you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply. ## Third-party resources on this website This website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. We may add analytics in future; if we do, we will update this policy first. ## Information in the plugin The Writrex plugin runs on your own WordPress site. It does not send your content, keywords or settings to us. It contacts only the services you choose to configure, plus: - **The Writrex licence server** — only if you activate a paid licence. It receives your licence key and site URL to validate the licence and check for plugin updates. - **IndexNow** — only if you enable it. It receives the URL of newly published content. Your AI, image and Search Console providers have their own privacy policies. ## How we use information - To deliver downloads, licences and updates. - To provide support and respond to enquiries. - To keep our website and services secure. - To send product update notifications you've asked for. You can opt out at any time. ## Sharing We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website, email and payments, and where the law requires. ## Retention We keep early-access details for as long as we need them to provide updates and support, or until you ask us to delete them. ## Legal bases Under UK data protection law we process personal information to perform a contract with you or take steps you ask for (for example sending a download or handling a licence), for our legitimate interests in running, securing and supporting the product, and where required by law. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. ## Your rights Under the UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and request a copy of it.
