# Rank tracking, reports and refresh

Measure what your content does, then keep it fresh.

## Rank Tracking (Professional+)

Open *Writrex → Rank Tracking*. Every generated page appears with focus keyword, position, change, clicks, impressions, CTR, SEO score and readability.

### Data sources

- **Writrex Google Search Console** — cached direct data from your connected property.

- **Rank Math analytics** — live position data if the Rank Math Analytics module is on.

- **Manual entries** — always available; enter a position on any row.

KPIs summarise pages tracked, average position, top-10 and top-3 counts, pages improved since first recorded, impressions and clicks, and average SEO score. Filter by pages or posts and by keyword or area, sort by date, position, clicks, SEO score or most improved, and open a position-history chart per page. *Take GSC snapshot* records the current state.

## Analytics (Professional+)

Generation activity over time, activity by hour, model usage, content-type breakdown, top keywords, top areas, a campaign summary and recent generations.

## Client Reports

Open *Writrex → Client Reports*. Filter by content type, date period (7, 14, 30, 90 days or all time) and keyword or area, add a *client or agency name* for the header, then *Print / Save PDF* or *Download PDF*. Reports include an executive summary and a detailed content review. Available on every plan.

## Content Refresh (Agency+)

Open *Writrex → Content Refresh*. The content decay scanner checks pages and posts in batches (oldest-modified first) for signals that they need attention:

| Signal | Trigger |
| --- | --- |
| No recent update | Not modified for your minimum age (default 120 days) |
| Outdated year | Mentions a past year in the title, meta or body |
| Weak quality score | Quality score below 70 |
| Weak SEO / readability | Yoast scores below 60 |
| Thin content | Under 700 words |
| Missing FAQ or internal links | None detected in the content |
| Low ranking or ranking decline | Position worse than 20, or moved down |
| Low clicks from impressions | 50+ impressions but 1 click or fewer |

Signals add up to a priority score, shown as **High**, **Medium** or **Low**. Filter by content type, minimum age and priority, and open a page straight from the results.
