# Images Writrex can attach a featured image to every page, post and product from four stock libraries and four AI image engines. Each provider needs its own key or account access. Check the image suits the business and the claim being made. | | Pixabay | Stock | Photos and illustrations; a good fallback | | Freepik | Stock and creative assets | Depends on what your Freepik account supports | | Google Imagen | AI | Uses your Gemini key where image generation is available | | Nano Banana | AI | Gemini-based image generation using your Gemini key | | OpenAI Image | AI | Needs an OpenAI key with image access | | Pollinations | AI | Free/community option; add a key for better reliability | ## Source modes - **Stock only** — use the configured stock provider. - **AI only** — generate every image with the AI provider. - **Stock, AI fallback** — try stock first; generate if there's no good match. - **AI, stock fallback** — try AI first; use stock if generation fails. ## AI image controls | Setting | Use | | --- | --- | | Model | Choose the Imagen, Nano Banana or OpenAI image model | | Image size | Landscape hero, square, portrait or auto | | Quality | Low, medium, high or auto | | Default style | Style text appended to prompts | | Prompt prefix and negative instructions | Safety and quality rules, for example no text, logos, watermarks or recognisable faces | In the generator, *Image keyword* sets the stock search term and *AI image prompt* overrides the auto-built prompt. *Generate Image Prompt* writes a safe prompt for you. A *Test* button in Settings checks the AI image provider. **Check before publishing.** Make sure a chosen image genuinely fits the business and any claim the page makes.
